According to a new Washington Post/ABC News/Stanford poll, seven in 10 Americans want more federal action on global warming, and about half of those surveyed think the government should do “much more” than it is doing now.
And the percentage of respondents who said that the issue of global warming is “extremely” or “very” important personally has doubled over the last 10 years — 52 percent on the latest poll.
Too bad they can’t agree on what the government should do about it.
