Have had cfl front porch lights for about 18 months, garage light for about the same time. Replaced “designer” globe bulbs (3) in the dining area last night and noticed no difference in illumination. We will replace all of our incandescent bulbs with in the next few weeks. You can now find dimmer and 3 way cfls as well, so there really is no excuse not to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible.
